Associate Director - Cold Chain

Role Overview:

As the Associate Director - Cold Chain, you will be instrumental in leading and optimizing our cold chain operations across India. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing the efficient and compliant storage and distribution of temperature-sensitive products, ensuring the integrity of our supply chain from end to end. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive cold chain strategies to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance across all stages of the supply chain.

- Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and inventory management of temperature-sensitive products, to minimize spoilage and maintain optimal conditions.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cold chain performance, such as temperature excursions, transit times, and inventory accuracy, to identify areas for improvement.

- Lead and mentor a team of cold chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

- Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and other industry best practices.

- Develop and manage the cold chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

- Implement and maintain robust documentation and record-keeping systems to track product movement, temperature data, and other relevant information.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cold chain processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.

Candidate must have:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cold chain management, supply chain, or related field.

- Must be currently working in a quick commerce company
