Description:

Strategic Business Partnering:

- Partner closely with business and leadership teams to support operational and strategic decision-making

- Drive prioritization choices around growth, profitability, and investments

- Provide financial support and guidance for short, medium, and long-term business strategies

- Support business development initiatives in line with approved financial plans

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead bottom-up financial planning in collaboration with business and technology teams

- Build and manage Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) aligned with business OKRs

- Modify financial plans and budgets based on evolving business strategies and priorities

- Conduct scenario analysis and develop business cases for new initiatives and product enhancements

Performance Management & Analytics:

- Review plans vs actuals regularly; perform in-depth variance analysis

- Track and measure key financial and business metrics, ensuring clear visibility

- Proactively communicate insights and recommend actionable interventions

- Jointly own business unit OKRs and financial outcomes

Governance & Controllership:

- Ensure best-in-class financial governance and controllership practices

- Oversee month-end close reviews, revenue cycle activities, and necessary corrections

- Optimize revenue and financial operations through strong policies and controls

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals focused on problem discovery and solutioning

- Conduct regular reviews with direct reports to ensure clarity of goals, timelines, and deliverables

- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Process Excellence & Automation:

- Handle ad-hoc business requests with quick turnaround, supported by structured analysis

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Post-Graduate degree in Finance

Experience:

- 6 to 15 years of total experience, depending on qualification & pedigree

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A / Strategic Finance

- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
