Associate Director - Algorithmic Risk (E-trading)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Investigate and respond to trading risk matters, internal audits, and regulatory queries.
- Experience with risk controls for algorithmic and automated trading
- Manage e-trading governance processes, including the Risk Committee, and build analytical tools to monitor and mitigate risks.
- Guide business leaders in continuously enhancing the electronic trading operating model
- Partner with Risk Managers to implement the targeted risk and control framework for the business
- Evaluate design specifications, test cases, and scripts, prepare reports, and engage stakeholders to review inherent and residual risk evaluations across markets.
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience in electronic trading operations combined with expertise in financial services risk and control across various organizational levels
- Excellent working knowledge of algorithms.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services, with a focus on investment banking
- Awareness of key regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, MAR, etc.)
- Strong technical, data, and analytical expertise (notably in SQL and Python)
- Ability to manage, improve, and deliver reporting on risk and control processes
