Associate Director - AI/ML Engineer - Natural Language Processing

Role Overview:

As the Associate Director - AI/ML (NLP) , you will lead a team of talented NLP engineers and researchers in developing and deploying state-of-the-art natural language processing solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to identify opportunities to leverage NLP to improve our products and services, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of NLP techniques, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of NLP engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

- Define and execute the NLP strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.

- Design, develop, and deploy NLP models and algorithms for various applications, including text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and machine translation.

- Collaborate with product managers to identify and prioritize NLP-related projects.

- Work with data scientists to ensure the quality and availability of data for NLP model training and evaluation.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and related fields, and evaluate their potential application to our products and services.

- Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of NLP solutions.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams of AI/ML engineers and researchers.

- Proven expertise in developing and deploying NLP models and algorithms, including deep learning techniques.

- Strong understanding of machine learning principles and statistical modeling.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.

- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in multiple locations across India.
