Title : Associate Director - Ad Sales - Print Media
Location : Gurgaon
About the Role :
We are looking for a high-performing and commercially driven Associate Director / Senior Manager - Ad Sales to lead revenue growth across our print media portfolio (for a Luxury Magazine). This role requires strong strategic thinking, deep understanding of advertiser and agency ecosystems, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships. You will play a key role in driving innovative advertising solutions, expanding existing business, and unlocking new revenue streams.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth :
- Define and execute sales strategies and revenue plans aligned with overall business goals.
- Identify, ideate, and implement new revenue opportunities across client categories and industry verticals.
- Drive consistent achievement and over-achievement of sales targets
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management :
- Acquire new advertisers and grow business with existing clients and media agencies.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers to drive retention and repeat business.
- Understand client objectives and deliver customized, value-driven advertising solutions.
Business Development & Innovation :
- Experiment with innovative sales ideas, packages, and offerings; scale initiatives that demonstrate success.
- Monitor market trends, advertiser behaviour, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
Sales Operations & Execution :
- Manage end-to-end sales lifecycle including lead generation, client meetings, DCRs, presentations, negotiations, deal closures, and ad scheduling
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and post-approval documentation in coordination with the reporting manager
Performance Tracking & Reporting :
- Track performance of new initiatives and ongoing campaigns using sales data and MIS reports
- Analyze outcomes, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to optimize revenue performance.
- Share market insights, competitor intelligence, and client feedback with senior management.
Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills :
- PG / MBA with 5 -12 years of experience in Ad Sales or Corporate Sales, preferably within print or media organizations.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong experience managing agency and direct client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to drive new business development and scale existing accounts.
- Excellent Communication Skills
