What you'll own

1. Scale the monetisation P&L:

Own the ad-monetisation number and its margin, and deliver step-change growth off the current base. Own the commercial frameworks that unlock it - pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPA and hybrid), rate cards, and a clear revenue-expansion roadmap - while protecting the shopper experience and category economics.

Measured on: monetisation net revenue & margin growth off the current base; monetisation as % of GMV (take-rate); year-on-year growth vs. plan.

2. Segment, win & grow brands:

Treat the advertiser base as segments, not one book - strategic / key accounts, mid-tier, and the long tail, across endemic beauty brands, the house-of-brands portfolio, non-endemic advertisers, and media agencies. Run a differentiated motion for each: high-touch managed service and joint business plans for key accounts, and scaled self-serve for the mid and long tail. Keep the book broad and diversified so no single brand carries the number.

Measured on: revenue by segment; key-account retention & net-spend expansion; mid/long-tail activation & advertiser count; agency deals; low revenue concentration.

3. Run campaign operations & make brands succeed:

Run the ad-ops engine - onboarding, campaign management, optimisation, reporting and brand QBRs - mapped to each brand's objective (awareness, consideration, conversion, basket uplift) so advertisers hit their ROAS and come back. Relevance first: a paid placement earns its slot on shopper relevance, never just spend - that is what keeps ROAS real and the shopper trusting the surface.

Measured on: advertiser ROAS delivered; servicing SLAs; repeat & expansion rate; brand satisfaction.

4. Build brand-facing data intelligence:

Turn Client's first-party data into an intelligence layer that brands actively want - real-time campaign performance, shopper and category insight, share and assortment signals, and trustworthy net-value-based measurement and attribution. Package it as a product brands engage with (and, over time, pay for), and run it to a high bar of data governance and privacy. This is both a retention moat and a new revenue line.

Measured on: brand adoption of the insights layer; insights-attributed / attached revenue; measurement & attribution coverage; data-governance compliance.

5. Drive innovation - properties & new formats (operator, co-built with Product):

Expand what brands can buy and keep the roadmap ahead of the market: new on-site formats (sponsored products & search, brand stores, premium visibility), extended and off-site / CRM media, in-store retail media across the physical network - the omni edge - and full-funnel and new-launch / sampling propositions. Run a disciplined test-and-learn on formats and pricing, feed a ruthlessly prioritised requirement list into Product, and push the roadmap toward self-serve and automation - Product builds; you operate.

Measured on: new formats & properties launched and scaled; incremental GMV vs. holdout; share of revenue from formats <18 months old; self-serve adoption.

Who you are:

- 8 - 10 years, having scaled an existing retail-media / marketplace ads business and delivered growth - you have owned and grown an ad-revenue P&L, not just managed campaigns.

- Have segmented an advertiser base and run differentiated motions - managed service for key accounts, self-serve for the tail - with deep brand & agency relationships in FMCG / beauty / CPG.

- Have built or run a brand-facing insights / measurement offering from first-party data, with a real feel for data governance and privacy.

- Have innovated ad formats and commercial / pricing models, and can run a disciplined test-and-learn.

- Work well with Product & Engineering as a sharp internal customer - crisp requirements, ruthless prioritisation, no urge to build it yourself.

- Online + offline retail-media exposure is a strong plus.
