Position: Associate Consultant - Strategy (Consumer)

Location: Mumbai / Gurugram / Bengaluru

Experience: 1.5 - 2.5 years

About the Role:

We are seeking motivated professionals to join our Strategy practice within the Consumer sector. As an Associate Consultant, you will support projects that help FMCG, Retail, and Consumer businesses accelerate revenue growth, enhance channel performance, and improve profitability across the value chain. You will work closely with the project team on assignments spanning market entry, pricing strategy, trade optimization, and sales acceleration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements focused on GTM, market entry, channel design, pricing, and trade strategy.

- Conduct data-driven analysis (sales performance, P&L trends, working capital) to identify growth and margin improvement opportunities.

- Assist in market sizing, consumer segmentation, and competitive benchmarking to uncover strategic insights.

- Contribute to product launch roadmaps, trade effectiveness initiatives, and performance tracking frameworks.

- Build and maintain financial and business models to evaluate potential scenarios and strategic options.

- Collaborate with Consultants and Senior Consultants on client deliverables, presentations, and proposals.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree / MBA from a reputed institute with specialization in Marketing, Economics, or Management.

- 1.5-2.5 years of experience in GTM strategy, commercial due diligence, market research, or consumer-focused consulting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Exposure to consumer sectors such as FMCG, Retail, D2C, or E-commerce.

- Ability to interpret financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and translate data into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative mindset.
