Associate Business Analyst - Market & Counterparty Credit Risk

Role Overview

Seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 5-10 years of experience in the Risk domain, specifically in Stress Testing, Trading Wind Down (TWD), Counterparty Credit Risk, and Market Risk. This role involves leading strategic risk-related projects, collaborating with global stakeholders, and driving transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Stress Testing and TWD projects across geographies

- Manage project lifecycle using BA tools (BRDs, functional specs, data matrices, workflows)

- Drive test management processes including UAT planning and execution

- Collaborate with Technology, Risk Management, Risk Middle Office, and Front Office teams

- Structure project governance and induction frameworks for new team members

- Prepare detailed project reports and track resource utilization

- Ensure full adherence to in-office work schedules

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong grasp of capital market products and derivatives across asset classes

- Hands-on experience in Stress Testing, risk measure computations (EAD, PE, PFE, EEPE, LEQ, VaR, ES), and risk reporting

- Solid understanding of Basel norms (Market, Credit, CVA risk capital requirements)

- Proficient in data analysis and risk data models

- Skilled in both agile and waterfall methodologies

- High standards in documentation and process control

- Experience across the full SDLC

- Strong command of MS Office tools and visualization platforms (SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Dremio)

- Professional certifications preferred (MBA, FRM, CFA, CQF)

- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills

- Adaptability to changing priorities and project constraints

- Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest automation or model enhancements
