Location: Head Office - Hemkunt Colony, Opposite Nehru Place, New Delhi
Position Overview: The role requires a Chartered Accountant with hands-on audit exposure and the ability to independently handle assigned audit areas. The ideal candidate will assist in executing audit engagements, support client interactions, and work closely with senior team members. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise, gain exposure to diverse industries, and grow within a structured professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit Execution:
- Assist in planning and performing statutory audits, internal audits, IFC and tax audits.
- Prepare working papers, schedules, and documentation in line with firm standards.
- Perform analytical reviews, testing procedures, and support risk assessment processes.
- Stay updated with relevant accounting standards and regulatory changes.
2. Client Support:
- Communicate with client teams to gather required information and resolve queries.
- Support audit seniors/managers in presenting audit findings.
- Ensure timely and professional handling of client deliverables.
3. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with seniors, managers, and partners to deliver assignments within deadlines.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Take initiative in seeking guidance and feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. Technical Competencies
- Working experience in Statutory, Internal, IFC and tax audit
- Understanding of Ind AS standards, their applicability and adjustments.
- Understanding of financial statements coupled with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
2. Behavioral Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication aptitudes.
- Ability to manage internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to deliver within set timelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within Delhi NCR and across India for audit engagements, as and when required.
Qualification & Experience:
- Mandatory qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of post-qualification experience in audit and attestation services.
- In cases where post-qualification experience is less than 1.5 years, relevant pre-qualification experience as a semi-qualified professional may be considered, provided the experience is substantially in audit-related work.
