Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Statutory Audit practice in Bangalore. In this role, you will lead and execute complex audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of marquee clients, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory standards and financial reporting frameworks. You will work closely with senior engagement managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality assurance services, providing stakeholders with the transparency and insights necessary to drive informed business decisions. This position offers the opportunity to influence financial integrity and operational excellence within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end statutory audits for large-scale corporate clients to ensure financial statements are free from material misstatement and comply with applicable GAAP.
- Analyze complex financial data and internal control environments to identify risks, providing actionable recommendations that enhance client reporting processes.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to manage audit timelines and deliverables, ensuring seamless communication with client management and stakeholders throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Mentor junior associates and review audit documentation to maintain the highest standards of quality and professional skepticism in line with firm methodology.
- Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes to provide proactive guidance to clients on technical accounting matters.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Statutory Audit and Financial Reporting, with a deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial information and identify systemic issues within client accounting processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1 to 6 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm environment.
- Adaptability to a hybrid work model in Bangalore, showing a commitment to team collaboration and professional growth within a high-performance culture.
