About the Role:
We are hiring for an Assistant/Associate Manager to manage category operations for a leading fashion e-commerce platform.
The ideal candidate will oversee inventory, vendor management, product performance, and category growth, with a strong focus on women's apparel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end inventory flow for the category, ensuring consistent availability of top-selling styles.
- Oversee and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards for performance tracking.
- Monitor product metrics and take timely corrective actions to improve sales and conversion.
- Enhance brand visibility, content quality, and on-platform presentation to maximize conversion rates.
- Ensure high sell-through rates and meet on-time buying (OTB) targets.
- Lead vendor onboarding, ensuring compliance with operational processes and quality standards.
- Conduct regular vendor interactions to align on pricing, discounting, and brand objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Track inventory inwards, product readiness, and go-live timelines to enable timely launches.
Key Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in seller handling, junior buying, or junior planning, ideally in women's apparel.
- Strong fashion and trend understanding with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional planning, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working within the e-commerce ecosystem is preferred
