Job Title: Associate - Algo Trading Risk

Qualification: B.Tech. / B.E. / MBA from Tier 1 colleges

Role Overview:

This role sits within the Electronic and Algorithmic Trading (EAT) Risk function, providing second-line oversight and challenge of electronic and algorithmic trading activity across all asset classes and global regions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day risk management support for Electronic and Algorithmic trading activities.

- Ensure compliance with EAT Risk policies through periodic reviews and reporting.

- Support the running of Risk Committees and Forums, including preparation of meeting materials.

- Analyze Electronic Trading incidents and facilitate lessons-learned reviews.

- Coordinate regulatory attestations (e.g., MiFID II) and the annual control attestation process.

- Review new EAT regulations, support gap analysis, and contribute to remediation plans.

- Assist in the development and implementation of the Algo Control Framework.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Required Expertise in at least one of the following:

- Electronic and Algorithmic Trading activities.

- Market Risk Limit Management (setup, adjustment, breaches).

- Non-financial and Operational Risks (RCSA, OpRisk Events).

- Technology Risk and understanding of system controls.

- Prior experience in IT Risk & Control, Algo Trading Risk, or e-Trade Support is preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage all management levels.

- Technical fluency and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple deliverables.

Preferred Knowledge:

- One or more asset classes (Equity, FX, Rates).

- Electronic trading regulations (MiFID II, FCA, CFTC, etc.).

- Algorithmic trading workflows (strategies, order routing, FIX protocol).

- Fundamentals of IT change management and technology platforms.
