Assistnat Manager - Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting - KPO

Covering the UK, EMEA and APAC, in respect of all group tax compliance and reporting obligations, this hybrid working role is based in our Hyderabad office joining an incumbent team. It will be ideal for anyone looking to develop and broaden their experience in a complex and fast paced international group.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of the corporate monthly and quarterly tax provision, to include balance sheet substantiation.

- Statutory accounts experience and preparing the corporate tax disclosure notes for these.

- Management of the outsourced corporation tax returns submission process and being responsible for the initial review of these tax returns in the Cantor Fitzgerald group.

- Management of the outsourced UK capital allowance and R&D Tax Credit claims process.

- Preparing reconciliations of current and deferred tax balances.

- Liaising with Finance, external auditors and external advisors in the UK and overseas, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Responsibility for monitoring the Effective Tax Rates and reporting to the US Tax team on these, including proof of tax and deferred tax substantiations.

- Managing the corporation tax payments process including preparation of detailed underlying calculations.

- Reporting related to withholding taxes and handling the process in respect of associated reclaims.

- Opportunity to be involved with project-based work relating to acquisitions and disposals, as well as group entity rationalization.

Candidate Requirements:

- Strong accountancy-based skillset with a detailed working understanding of current and deferred tax and applicable GAAP.

- Communication skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with dealing with auditor queries and resolving these.

- An extremely organized individual due to the complexity of the group structure.

- Adaptable - Proven ability to thrive in a complex matrix environment, collaborate effectively with broader teams, bringing people together to deliver.

- High levels of self-awareness and committed to personal development with a growth mind-set.

- Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making skills.

- Financial services (banking, other brokerages, private equity) experience is an advantage.
