Key Responsibilities:
- Drive acquisition and growth of Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs), HFT firms, and institutional clients.
- Execute targeted business development strategies to achieve AUM and revenue targets.
- Build a strong pipeline through proactive market mapping and relationship-building across the financial ecosystem.
- Generate data and intelligence to support sales.
- Client Relationship Management - Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their investment needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Ensure high-touch client engagement and a seamless onboarding and servicing experience.
- Product & Market Expertise - Maintain in-depth knowledge of capital market products, particularly FPI-related structures, regulations, and benefits.
- Stay ahead of market trends, global fund flows, and competitor offerings to create differentiated client value propositions.
Strategic & Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape the business development roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, Legal, Product, Operations) to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track KPIs including client acquisition, conversion cycles, and wallet share growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market intelligence summaries, and strategic insights for leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 2-5 years in institutional sales, FPI onboarding, or business development roles in capital markets or securities services.
- Expertise: Solid understanding of the Indian capital markets, FPI regulatory framework (SEBI, RBI), and institutional client behaviour.
- Client Network: Active connects within FPIs, global wealth desks, AIF/PMS, or trading firms.

Education: MBA / CFA / CA or equivalent finance qualification is strongly preferred.
