Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Warehousing & Logistics

- The AVP / VP - Warehousing & Logistics will be responsible for leading and transforming end-to-end warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations across the network.

- The role focuses on driving operational excellence, cost optimization, scalability, automation, and service-level improvements while aligning warehousing and logistics strategy with overall supply chain and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead overall warehousing and logistics strategy including inbound, storage, outbound, and last-mile coordination.

- Drive modernization initiatives such as WMS, automation, mechanization, and process digitization.

- Design and optimize warehouse layouts, racking systems, throughput capacity, and material handling equipment.

- Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance, safety, and quality standards across all locations.

- Own logistics cost optimization, freight negotiations, route optimization, and vendor performance management.

- Build scalable processes to support business growth, new launches, and network expansion.

- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, inventory accuracy, OTIF, turnaround time, and cost-to-serve.

- Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, sales, and planning teams for seamless supply chain execution.

- Lead, mentor, and develop senior warehouse and logistics teams across multiple locations.
