Position: Assistant Vice President/ Vice President - Regulatory

Location: Mumbai

Experience / Role: Minimum 18 years work experience in exchanges, depositories, related financial institutions etc.

Job Description:

- Ensuring smooth functioning of all Regulatory activities related to Depository inter-alia including compliances thereof, along with, regulatory disclosures, compliance requirements.

- Awareness about regulations related to DP Admission and ISIN Admission.

- Ability to engage with various stakeholders including regulators, MIIs, auditors, depository participants, issuers, RTAs, internal stake holders, vendors, etc.

- Spearheading transformation initiatives for implementing software developments/system enhancements for critical operations and capability to actively collaborate with technology, regulatory and other functional teams.

- Ability to pro-actively contribute to identifying enhancements, automation of activities, business transformation ideas, ability to define and use business analytics and MIS for improvement in key metrics for operations functions.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian securities markets value chain, the market infrastructure institutions (MIIs) and in particular the depository activities.

- In-depth understanding of regulatory framework including SEBI regulations, circulars and assesses its impact on the operations.

- Should actively participate in regulatory policy making and market development initiatives taken up by SEBI.

- Expertise in leading a diverse team to manage process driven activities to be performed as per defined SOPs.

- Should be able to handle exceptional situations, crisis scenarios and manage business continuity of the operations functions.

- Should possess very good inter-personal and communication skills. Should have proven skills in the area of problem solving and decision making.

- Work experience with MII or SEBI registered intermediary shall be an added advantage.
