A pursuit lead will be responsible for the end-to-end deal life cycle from early stages to contract signature. They will work closely with multi-functional teams to help analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and create comprehensive solution designs that align with the organization's strategic goals.
This involves designing appropriate operating models, adopting relevant technologies and ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and performs well.
The pursuit lead will typically work on qualified opportunities, usually in the form of a RFI or RFP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding Business Needs: Analyze the business requirements of client operations to understand the specific needs and challenges.
- Solution Design: Develop end-to-end solution architectures, including operating model, implementation plan, transformation road maps, governance structures etc ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Technology Selection: Identify and evaluate appropriate technologies and platforms for implementing the BPO solution in conjunction with technology architects, domain SMEs and delivery leads
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and leadership teams and manage all aspects of the deal from inception to closure
Skills Required:
- Outsourcing Proficiency: Very strong understanding of business process outsourcing methodologies including typical operating models, transition approaches, developing transformation frameworks etc.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial understanding to convert solutions into the appropriate commercial models. The role requires heavy interaction with the pricing and commercial teams
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Attention to detail: Managing complex proposals will require an eye for detail and the ability to provide guidance to the larger team on solution development and response creation
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical information clearly. This is a very critical requirement as the role requires working closely with a number of functional teams within FSL
- Proposal design, presentations and articulation: Should be able to create comprehensive response documents including solutions, commercials and presentations.
- Appreciation of legal structures: Understanding of legal frameworks and key clauses is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry verticals: Experience of having worked on at least 2 of the following industries Financial Services, Media, Healthcare, Technology,Retail/Utilities
Relevant Experience
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in BPO of which at least 3-5 years have been focused on solution development
