About the Organization:
A leading global banking group has established a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India to support its international operations across Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
The centre provides high-value services across multiple functions including Credit, KYC/AML, Technology, Operations, and Risk Management, and plays a critical role in supporting the bank's global network.
As part of its continued expansion, the organization is looking to hire experienced Project Finance professionals to support portfolio management and credit analysis activities for global transactions.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking experienced Project Finance professionals at the Vice President level with strong portfolio management and credit analysis expertise.
- The role involves managing and monitoring a portfolio of complex structured finance transactions across sectors such as Power & Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and other project finance sectors. Exposure to aviation finance and leasing would be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage an existing credit portfolio comprising Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Syndicated Loans, Energy and Leveraged Lending transactions.
- Identify and assess emerging risks within the assigned portfolio.
- Conduct periodic and ad-hoc credit reviews of borrower accounts.
- Monitor problem loans and watch-list accounts and recommend appropriate risk mitigation actions.
- Coordinate and communicate key account developments with business teams, product groups, and credit divisions globally.
- Monitor loan maturities and credit lines, ensuring timely renewals or restructuring where necessary.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, credit guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Support credit risk monitoring through detailed financial analysis and evaluation of financial models.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in Project Finance / Infrastructure Finance / Structured Finance credit analysis within financial institutions.
- Proven expertise in credit risk assessment, portfolio management, and financial analysis.
- Ability to analyze complex financial models to evaluate borrower repayment capacity.
- Good understanding of loan documentation, credit structures, and risk frameworks across project finance sectors.
- Exposure to aviation finance, securitization, or leasing transactions will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and structured approach to work.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Postgraduate degree in Finance / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CA / CFA or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Relevant experience in Project Finance, Structured Finance, or Leveraged Finance within a bank or financial institution.
