Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Product - IT

Product Strategy & Vision

- Define and own the long-term product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and user needs.

- Translate company objectives into clear product roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

- Identify new growth opportunities, platforms, and capabilities to scale the ecosystem.

Leadership & Team Building

- Build, mentor, and manage a team of Product Managers; set high standards for product thinking and execution.

- Foster a culture of customer obsession, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

- Act as a thought partner to senior leadership on product-led growth and innovation.

Execution & Delivery

- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle across multiple initiatives from discovery and requirement definition to execution, launch, and iteration.

- Partner deeply with engineering and design leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality frontend and backend solutions.

- Ensure timely delivery while balancing speed, quality, and technical trade-offs.

Stakeholder Management

- Drive alignment across business, tech, design, operations, and external partners.

- Clearly communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams.

- Represent the product function in senior forums and decision-making processes.

Data & Customer Insights

- Champion strong usage of data, experimentation, and user research to guide decisions.

- Track product performance metrics and ensure continuous optimization based on insights.

What Were Looking For:

- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in B2C or platform-based internet products.

- Proven experience scaling products and teams in fast-growing environments.

- Strong understanding of frontend and backend systems, with the ability to guide architectural and technical discussions at a high level.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills - comfortable operating at both 30,000 ft and ground level.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- MBA or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
