Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic IT Leadership:


- Develop and execute the companys IT strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.


- Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies and trends that can drive business growth and improve efficiency.


- Lead the digital transformation of the organization, identifying areas for innovation and optimization through technology.


IT Governance and Risk Management:


- Establish and oversee IT governance frameworks, ensuring the alignment of technology with regulatory requirements, security policies, and risk management practices.


- Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to protect sensitive data and systems, overseeing risk assessments, security audits, and disaster recovery plans.


- Develop and enforce policies related to IT security, data management, and compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, SOC, ISO, etc.


Technology Operations and Innovation:


- Ensure the efficient operation of IT infrastructure, including network management, data centers, cloud services, and enterprise applications.


- Drive innovation by implementing state-of-the-art technologies such as cloud computing, AI/ML, IoT, and data analytics to improve business processes.


- Oversee the development and deployment of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM) and ensure seamless integration with other business functions.


Financial Management and Budgeting:


- Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing spending across hardware, software, infrastructure, and staffing.


- Identify cost-saving opportunities by improving IT processes and leveraging technologies that maximize ROI.


- Ensure that IT investments are aligned with the businesss financial goals and provide regular financial reports to senior leadership.


Leadership and Team Development:


- Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.


- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in various business units to ensure IT solutions meet their needs.


- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure the IT department is aligned with cross-functional business strategies.


Vendor and Partner Management:


- Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and third-party services related to technology procurement, licensing, and managed services.


- Evaluate and implement outsourcing strategies, where applicable, to optimize service delivery and reduce operational costs.


- Establish strategic partnerships with external technology providers to enhance capabilities and support the organizations growth.


Data Management and Business Intelligence:


- Ensure the development and implementation of data strategies that enhance business intelligence and data analytics capabilities.


- Oversee the organizations data governance framework, ensuring data accuracy, privacy, and availability.


- Promote the use of data-driven decision-making across the organization by providing key insights from analytics tools.


Digital Transformation:


- Lead the organizations digital transformation journey, including the adoption of cloud-based services, automation, and AI/ML-driven solutions.


- Identify opportunities for digitizing customer experiences, improving internal processes, and automating tasks to enhance efficiency.


- Work with marketing, operations, and product teams to integrate digital technologies that enhance customer engagement and product offerings.


Required Skills and Qualifications


Education:


- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.


- MBA or advanced degree in IT management or related field preferred.


Experience:


- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior/executive level IT position.


- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing large-scale enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).


- Experience managing complex IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and cyber security programs.


Skills:


- Strong understanding of IT systems, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.


- Experience developing and executing IT strategy aligned with business goals.


- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing IT teams.


- Financial management skills, including budget planning and vendor negotiations.


- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments.


Preferred Skills:


- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, IoT, and big data.


- Experience in managing IT for a global or multi-location organization.


- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering large-scale IT initiatives on time and within budget.


- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices in service management
