Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Fund of Funds

Hiring: AVP / VP - Fund of Funds (FoF)

Location: Mumbai

A leading investment platform is looking for an experienced investment professional to join its growing Fund of Funds (FoF) business. This is a high-impact role offering end-to-end exposure across fund investments, due diligence, portfolio management, investor engagement, and strategic initiatives.

The role will work closely with the CIO and senior leadership team to evaluate and execute investment opportunities while helping build and scale the FoF platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive FoF transactions from screening to closure

- Conduct fund evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring

- Prepare investment memos, IC materials, and deal documentation

- Participate in commercial negotiations and execution of investments

- Manage reporting, compliance, valuation, and operational processes

- Engage with investors, advisors, consultants, and downstream fund managers

- Support launch and management of new FoF initiatives

- Build monitoring frameworks, MIS systems, and risk management processes

Ideal Candidate:

- 8-12 years of experience in FoF investing, private equity, investment banking, family office investments, valuation, or financial due diligence

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investments, and transaction lifecycle

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced investment environment

- CA / MBA / CS preferred

- Experience with private equity or investment management platforms is an advantage
