Job Purpose:
To lead the creation of high-impact economic and equity research reports and thought-leadership papers. This role provides actionable insights on macroeconomic trends, market indices, and equity movements to guide strategic organizational decisions and enhance market positioning.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Research Leadership:
- Lead primary and secondary research on macroeconomics, financial markets, and equities.
- Analyze the relationships between key economic indicators (e.g., GDP), equity indices, and market variables to forecast trends using advanced econometric models.
Thought Leadership & Publication:
- Author and publish credible, data-driven research papers, market outlook reports, and sector/company performance studies.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Representation & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Represent the organization in industry forums, academic circles, and electronic/print media.
- Contribute to public policy and market discussions, strengthening the organization's voice and market understanding.
Category Requirement:
- Education Master's or PhD in Economics, Financial Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience 10-15 years of progressive experience in equity or economic research with a strong, verifiable record of published work.
- Technical Skills Advanced econometric and statistical modeling skills.
- Proficiency in research tools and data platforms. Advanced quantitative analysis and forecasting.
- Core Competencies Analytical and strategic thinker.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
