Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Business Excellence - Speciality Chemicals Industry

Must Have: Candidates from the speciality chemicals industry and a BE in Chemical.

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Excellence incumbent will lead the Global Business Excellence agenda, driving quality, regulatory compliance and operational excellence across Business Processes.

- Lead and integrate Business Excellence initiatives across Business Processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and evolving stakeholder requirements.

- Provide strategic leadership to the corporate BE team comprising the Regulatory, QA/QC, Systems (QMS/IMS) and Operational Excellence.

- Oversee and mentor site-based functions for QA, QC, and Operational Excellence across multiple manufacturing locations.

- Spearhead improvement initiatives across functions, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions through TQM, Six Sigma, Lean, and other CI frameworks to enhance robust processes and efficiency.

- Ensure full regulatory compliance across all operating geographies and maintain a robust audit-ready environment.

- Focusing on impactful areas of the business to drive EBITDA improvement, involving end-to-end value chain analysis to identify losses and inefficiencies.

- Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization, promoting an organizational mindset of excellence, encouraging employee participation, and establishing mechanisms for structured feedback and learning.

Education & Experience:

- BE / ME in Chemical, additional qualifications in TQM, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence preferred.

- 22+ yrs of progressive experience in the speciality chemicals industry, with demonstrated leadership across multi-location manufacturing setups.
