
Role Overview:
As an AVP/VP - BA PM in Mumbai, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic initiatives within our Wealth Management division. Your day-to-day will involve leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across technology, operations, and business development to deliver innovative solutions and enhance our client experience. This role directly impacts our ability to provide best-in-class wealth management services, improve operational efficiency, and achieve significant business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects and programs within the Wealth Management domain, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, risk management strategies, and communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and mitigate potential issues.
- Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within Wealth Management.
- Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies across the organization.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Project Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and programs within the financial services industry, specifically Wealth Management.
- Proven expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Engineering); MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP) preferred.
- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment and comfortable working in a hybrid model based in Mumbai.
