Position: Unit Head - HR & Operations
Location: Trivandrum

Role Overview:
The Unit Head HR & Operations will lead the HR function and operational excellence for a large-scale workforce of 4,000+ employees. This role is designed for a transformational leader who can drive strategic HR initiatives, organizational change, and operational efficiency while minimizing transactional activities. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring that HR strategies align with business objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Define and execute HR strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive transformational HR initiatives that enhance organizational capability and employee experience.
Workforce & Operations Management:
- Oversee HR operations for a workforce of 4,000+ employees across multiple units.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and governance frameworks.
Organizational Development & Transformation:
- Lead projects in organizational restructuring, talent management, and capability building.
- Implement OD interventions to strengthen culture, engagement, and leadership pipelines.
Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement:
- Partner with CXOs, business leaders, and external stakeholders to deliver HR and operational excellence.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Talent & Succession Planning:
- Design and implement succession planning frameworks for critical roles.
- Lead leadership development initiatives to build future-ready talent.
Operational Excellence:
- Streamline HR processes to reduce transactional workload and increase strategic focus.
- Drive automation, digital HR solutions, and process transformation projects.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Champion employee engagement programs that foster inclusion, innovation, and performance.
- Ensure effective grievance handling and employee relations management.
