Description:

- We are handling an exciting and challenging opportunity with a leading MNC Bank for the role of Vice President Transformation & Reporting based at Pune.

- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.

- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.

- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.

- Strong experience in Major Shareholding Reporting / Short & Long Position Reporting / Takeover Panel Reporting.

- Hands-on knowledge of Python and SQL (good to have).

- Solid understanding of global equity markets and regulatory disclosure frameworks.

- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and stakeholder management skills.

- Manages strategic initiatives, regulatory compliance, and complex transactions for major clients.

- Key responsibilities include setting strategy, overseeing operational efficiency,

- Managing risk, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, all while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

- The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in finance and banking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy and leadership: Set strategy, provide recommendations for change, plan resources and budgets, and manage policies and processes. Lead teams by defining roles, managing performance, and providing guidance to junior staff.

- Regulatory and risk management: Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as submitting major shareholding disclosures in multiple jurisdictions. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment and strengthen controls across the organization.

- Operations and client service: Oversee operational efficiency by standardizing procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and resolving complex client issues. Handle critical trade transactions and provide proactive advisory services to clients.

- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams, functional heads, and regulators. Communicate findings and present reports to senior management.

- Analytics and reporting: Analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions. Monitor performance and create reports on key metrics to communicate findings and influence decision-making.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong team player, self-starter with positive attitude.
