Assistant Vice President - Trade Finance Operations - Banking

Job opening with French Based Investment Banking Company, Bengaluru.

Required Skills:

To be a great fit for this role, you should have:

- Proven experience in team management and individual development within a complex operational environment.

- Excellent command of trade finance products (Import/Export LC, Rebates, Guarantees) and associated regulations (UCP 600, ISP98, URDG, Incoterms 2010).

- Solid practical experience in processing trade finance transactions.

- Proficiency in back-office systems: Loan IQ, FBTI, Flexcube (preferred). Knowledge of Calypso and Swift Alliance is a plus.

- Familiarity with SWIFT payments (MT 103, MT 202) and cross-border settlement in RMB (preferred).

- Deep expertise in trade finance operations.

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in trade finance operations within a reputable bank, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Proven track record of optimizing operational processes and implementing effective risk management strategies.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Relevant professional certifications in trade finance (e.g., CDCS) are highly desirable.
