Job Description AVP Talent Acquisition
Role Overview:
The AVP Talent Acquisition will spearhead the hiring strategy across business verticals, build a strong talent pipeline, lead a TA team, and partner closely with senior leadership to ensure timely, high-quality talent delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership:
- Drive the overall recruitment strategy for tech, non-tech, risk, credit, sales, support, and leadership roles.
- Build and lead a high-performing TA team with strong focus on TAT, quality of hire, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Partner with CXOs, Business Heads, and HR Leaders to understand manpower requirements and workforce planning.
2. End-to-End Recruitment Management:
- Manage full-cycle hiring including sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding.
- Implement best practices for structured interviews, assessments, and competency-based hiring.
- Ensure proactive pipeline creation for critical and niche roles.
3. Stakeholder & Business Partnering:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Conduct regular hiring reviews, dashboards, MIS, and closure updates.
- Ensure timely feedback loops and navigate hiring challenges with business teams.
4. Talent Branding & Candidate Experience:
- Build employer brand across platforms such as LinkedIn, events, campus engagements, and industry forums.
- Drive superior candidate experience from application to onboarding.
5. TA Operations & Analytics:
- Own hiring metrics: TAT, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, pipeline health, source effectiveness.
- Use data-driven insights to improve processes and hiring outcomes.
- Leverage ATS and digital tools for automation and efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
Required Experience:
- 1016 years of strong recruitment experience within NBFCs, Banks, FinTechs, or new-age digital-first companies.
- Experience hiring for mid-to-senior leadership roles, business-critical roles, and high-volume functions.
- Proven track record of managing TA teams and driving closures within tight timelines.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent stakeholder and leadership management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of BFSI talent landscape.
- Hands-on with sourcing tools, ATS, data analytics.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
