Assistant Vice President - Supply Chain Analytics - Supply Planning/Production Planning/Inventory Planning

Job Summary:

As part of our Data & AI practice, you will be part of Global Data & AI team, using analytics, AI/ML, and planning tools to optimize supply chain performance for FMCG / CPG clients. The Individual will be involved in leading strategy, extracting insights, managing teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and automation. This position demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in analytics and decision science methods.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead data-driven insights and design digital supply chain analytics solutions for business optimization.

- Transform complex data into actionable strategies to improve supply chain planning and performance.

- Utilize planning platform to support demand forecasting, supply optimization, and scenario planning.

- Possess expertise in Machine Learning , Data Science , SQL, Advanced Analytics, Power Query, and VBA to drive automation and decision-making.

- Engage with multiple CPG clients, presenting data-driven findings to senior stakeholders for strategic decision-making.

- Collaborate across procurement, logistics, and finance functions to enhance operational efficiency.

- Lead automation initiatives and support transformation programs to improve scalability.

- Develop POVs on Agentic AI and Gen AI use cases to drive innovation in analytics applications.

- Manage and mentor analytics teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and execution across engagements.

Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills:

- PG / MBA / BE / B.Tech with min 9+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in Supply Chain Analytics / Supply Chain Transformation in FMCG / CPG Industry ( with good experience into Supply Planning / Inventory Planning / Production Planning)

- Expertise in at least two of the following areas: demand planning, inventory management, S&OP, or logistics.

- Hands-on experience with O9 , Kinaxis, SAP, or similar platforms. ( Would be an Added Advantage)

- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and leadership experience.

- Ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Machine Learning , Data Science ,Python, SQL, VBA, and Advanced Excel, with strong data modeling and reporting skills.

- Exposure to AI-driven Agents within supply chain operations.

- Experience with Power BI/Tableau for data visualization and insights.

- Understanding of global supply chain operations and live data ingestion tools.
