
Position - AVP Software Engineering - Ops Risk Open Pages
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Work closely with other departments, such as product management, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors' Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in IBM Open Pages (8.3.x and later), including designing, and developing complex flows for Governance Risk and Compliance space.
- Extensive experience in the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) domain.
- Strong experience with TFUI, workflows, configuration, views, calculations, security, triggers, helpers, APIs, AFCON, object models, integration, etc.
- Proven experience in designing and architecting solutions on IBM OpenPages and Cognos Framework
- Proficient in Java to support IBM OpenPages APIs and should be able to mentor the team.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Experience with the full lifecycle of IBM OpenPages version upgrades and migrations.
- Strong background working with the Java/J2EE.
- Exposure to batch scripting, and Windows environments.
- Devops with CI/CD experience.
- Data integration with SQL and Informatica.
- Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- IBM OpenPages developer certification.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Creative approach to problem-solving, innovation, and issue resolution
