Assistant Vice President/Senior Assistant Vice President - Collections Strategy - Banking

- Looking for a Decision Anlytics to define, own, and scale the end-to-end collections strategy across the lending portfolio. This role will be responsible for long-term strategy, policy design, portfolio governance, and outcome ownership across early, mid, and late-stage collections.

- The role partners closely with CXOs, Risk, Product, and Technology leadership to balance customer experience, regulatory compliance, and recovery efficiency.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in Collections Strategy / Credit Risk / Decision Science within Fintech, NBFC, or BFSI.

- Proven experience owning enterprise-level collections strategy for unsecured lending portfolios.

- Strong analytical foundation with hands-on understanding of Python/R and SQL.

Deep expertise in:

- Early, mid, and late-stage collections frameworks

- Portfolio analytics, roll rates, vintage curves, and recovery forecasting

- Cost-to-collect optimization

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence CXOs and senior stakeholders.

Good to Have:

- Experience building digital-first and omni-channel collections strategies.

- Exposure to regulatory, compliance, and customer grievance frameworks.

- Experience working with decision engines and large-scale automation platforms.

- Prior experience in scaling collections strategy during high-growth phases.
