Assistant Vice President - Sales - Tile Adhesive/Construction Chemicals/Paints

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned AVP - Sales professional with strong experience in the Tile Adhesive, Construction Chemicals (excluding Waterproofing), Paints, or Epoxy industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing State Heads, Regional Managers, and large Sales Teams across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and drive overall Sales Strategy, Business Development, and Revenue Growth across assigned regions.

- Manage and mentor State Heads, Regional Sales Managers, and Area Teams to achieve business goals.

- Develop, implement & monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.

- Ensure strong market penetration in Retail / Grey channels.

- Identify and develop new markets, dealers, and distributor networks.

- Oversee pricing strategies, competition mapping, and market intelligence.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams - Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams.

- Drive effective team reviews, performance assessments, and capability building.

- Ensure adherence to company policies, credit norms, and operational processes.

- Represent the company at key dealer meets, trade activities, and market events.

Candidate Requirements

- 15-20 years of relevant experience in Tile Adhesive, Construction Chemicals, Paints, or Epoxy segment.

- Proven experience in handling large sales teams and multi-state operations.

- Strong exposure to Retail/Grey channel sales.

- Ability to manage P&L at regional/state level.

- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Candidates preferred from MP, CG, Jharkhand, Odisha, or Maharashtra.
