Position Overview:

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Sales will lead business development and client acquisition efforts for the US IT Staffing market. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic client relationships, expanding market presence, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate has deep experience in IT staffing, a strong understanding of US staffing models, and a proven record of meeting aggressive sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Revenue Growth:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals in the US IT staffing market.

- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with enterprise clients, MSPs, VMS programs, and mid-market organizations.

- Expand wallet share within existing accounts by positioning additional staffing and workforce solutions.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers including hiring managers, procurement leaders, MSP program managers, and executives.

- Conduct regular client engagements to understand upcoming workforce needs and align solutions accordingly.

- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and delivery oversight.

Sales Leadership:

- Set performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

- Collaborate with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure timely and quality submissions.

Strategic Planning & Market Expansion:

- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and client demands to refine sales strategies.

- Develop targeted go-to-market plans for specific industries or regions within the US.

- Drive adoption of new service offerings such as SOW services, nearshore/offshore models, or RPO (as applicable).

Operations & Reporting:

- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools.

- Track KPIs, revenue performance, and operational efficiencies.

- Partner with leadership to develop pricing, proposal responses, and contract negotiations.

Required Qualifications:

- 8-15 years of experience in IT staffing sales, with significant exposure to US markets.

- Proven track record of achieving multimillion-dollar sales quotas.

- Strong understanding of MSP/VMS ecosystems, contract staffing, C2C/W2 hiring models, and US compliance.

- Experience managing and scaling sales teams.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience selling to Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.

- Exposure to offshore/nearshore delivery models.

- Knowledge of additional services such as RPO, SOW, or managed services.
