Position - AVP -Retail Location - Delhi Reports to ED- Retail Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) - Extensive business experience including relevant multi-site gained within the retail shop sector. - Experienced in managing relationships at a senior level internal stakeholders and managing a diverse (in terms of skill base and experience) team of people. - - Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy. - - Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability even in challenging market conditions. - Experience of site evaluation. Must demonstrate a proven ability to motivate, coach and develop people Key Roles and Responsibilities: Financial: - To work with the Management and other Vertical Heads of Retail Function to influence the creation and communication of Retail Strategy, business priorities and State wise Targets. - - To generate ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends. - - To Influence and support the retail element of the annual budget process ensuring understanding and buy in from the operations team and constantly reviews financial data in providing realistic input into the sales budgets. - - To regularly produce and present a range of financial/non-financial reports for the Management as and required. Customer Oriented: - To periodically spend time in shops with retail shop teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies. - - To maintain the corporate identity of Company in all shops and related initiatives. People Oriented: - To use open feedback mechanisms from the operations team to ensure the integration of the retail strategy with Company's Annual Operating Plan. - - To work with the Corporate HR Team to ensure people management issues are satisfactorily resolved and relevant HR policies and procedures are adhered to. - - To chair disciplinary, grievance, capability, shortage or pilferage issues of Retail as and when required. Internal Business Process: - To Ensures all new shop proposals meet the required return on sales prior to submitting any recommendations to the Management; all new shop locations must be visited to ensure they will trade effectively and meet the proposed budgets. - - To Maintain and constantly develops innovative and cost effective stock generation; monitors stock weekly to achieve bottom line sales budget against monthly targets. - - To ensures that the retail operation complies with all policies and procedures relating to Cleanliness, Unchanging Look & Feel, Hygiene, Health and Safety. - - To establish smooth exchanges/returns for a hassle free after sale experience. - - To ensure Store Implementation of Unvarying SOPs & Audit - - To accomplish Loss prevention and Shrinkage control to &lt; 1%. - - To ascertain high margin merchandise is given priority to sell.
