Assistant Vice President - Research - BFSI

Key Responsibilities

Research Leadership:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of high-quality, data-driven research across the Indian BFSI sector, including banking, NBFCs, insurance, and fintech segments.

Strategic Insights:

- Track economic trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to translate developments into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.

Client Engagement:

- Strengthen relationships with key clients by delivering impactful research, customized reports, and strategic presentations that support investment and business decisions.

Product & Offering Development:

- Drive the expansion of both standard and customized research offerings, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with sector specialists, economists, and analytics teams to synthesize research inputs and develop high-value insights.

Presentation & Communication:

- Present research findings in compelling and clear formats, tailored for diverse audiences including senior management, investors, and external partners.

Quality Assurance:

- Maintain rigorous research methodologies, data validation, and analytical standards across all deliverables.

Core Expertise:

- Strong understanding of research methodologies, financial analysis, and data interpretation.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian BFSI sector-including banks, NBFCs, insurance, capital markets, and fintech ecosystems.

- Proven ability to connect macroeconomic, regulatory, and sectoral trends to company and credit-level implications.

Analytical & Technical Proficiency:

- Strong command over financial modeling, data visualization, and report preparation.

- Expertise in tools such as MS Excel, Power BI / Tableau, and other financial databases (Bloomberg, CMIE, Capital IQ, etc.

- Ability to produce data-backed strategic insights supported by clear narratives and recommendations.

Communication & Stakeholder Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong presentation and storytelling ability-capable of simplifying complex financial insights for diverse audiences.

- Experience interacting with senior clients, investors, and internal leadership teams
