Responsibilities

As an AVP - Reference Data, your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and managing a Reference Data framework, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across the organization.

- Leading a team to establish and implement robust data governance strategies.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Compliance, and Technology divisions, for seamless integration of data processes.

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial industry standards in all data-related operations.

- Driving process optimization initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.

- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership teams, to meet business goals efficiently.

- Proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies and drawing insights to support business strategies.

- Overseeing regulatory audits and ensuring that the Reference Data domain adheres to the highest standards of financial practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

- 13+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services sector, with a focus on Investment Banking and Reference Data.

- Expertise in managing large-scale Reference Data operations, including frameworks, governance, and compliance.

- Strong technical know-how of data tools, platforms, and processes, including hands-on experience with data management systems.

- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements within the financial services/investment banking sector.

- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
