Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of new store openings (NSOs), renovations, relocations, and other retail infrastructure projects across multiple cities.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Ensure quality standards are met in construction, interiors, and installations while adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.
Strategic Oversight:
- Partner with real estate, design, operations, and finance teams to align project execution with overall business objectives.
- Anticipate risks and challenges, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance project execution frameworks.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead negotiations, tendering processes, and vendor evaluations to ensure best value solutions.
- Act as a key liaison between cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain.
Cost & Compliance Management:
- Oversee CAPEX planning, budget forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives across projects.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, permits, and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Implement tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate reporting and accountability.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and lead the projects team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Encourage best practices, structured reporting, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Support career development and capacity building within the projects function.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in retail, luxury, or lifestyle sectors, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in handling multi-location rollout projects, renovations, and vendor management.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX optimization experience.
