
We are hiring for a leading fintech/payments organization in Mumbai, looking to onboard an experienced AVP - Product Strategy to drive growth across its acquiring and merchant payments ecosystem.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, revenue growth, and enterprise solutioning, with a strong focus on merchant segments, distribution strategy, and monetization.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Strategy & Revenue Ownership :
- Map segment-wise and customer-wise GR (Gross Revenue) and NR (Net Revenue) opportunities
- Identify product gaps and growth levers across the acquiring ecosystem
- Design and drive product and distribution strategies aligned to business goals
- Co-own revenue targets (GTV, GR, NR) along with business and sales teams
Product Innovation & Monetization :
- Develop differentiated product programs for targeted merchant segments
- Design pricing, packaging, and customized solutions as extensions of the acquiring platform
- Build ROI-driven business cases to support new product initiatives
Sales Support & Solutioning :
- Act as a pre-sales partner to the business team
- Build and manage merchant engagement tools, dashboards, and CRM platforms
- Support sales teams in pipeline conversion and enterprise deal closures
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with Product, Technology, Implementation, Legal, and Finance teams
- Ensure product-market fit, scalability, and reliability of solutions
- Drive seamless client onboarding and solution customization
Market Intelligence & Strategy :
- Track payments industry trends, fintech innovations, and regulatory developments
- Provide inputs to core product teams for future roadmap and feature enhancements
- Represent the organization in industry forums and client discussions
Eligibility Criteria :
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management within Payments / BFSI
- Strong experience in :
1. Payment Gateway / Acquiring / Merchant Payments
2. Enterprise payment solutions or platform-based offerings
- Proven ability to :
1. Drive product strategy and revenue growth
2. Work closely with sales and enterprise clients
3. Build commercially viable product solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Success Metrics :
- Product/program launches and adoption
- Achievement of revenue targets (GTV, GR, NR)
- Pipeline creation and conversion rates
