Job Title AVP(Product Management) Broking Products
Reporting to: Product Head
Job Location: BKC Mumbai

Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for developing and managing the product strategy and roadmap for Orgs broking services under the guidance of Head of Products. Broking products include Cash, IPO, Futures & Options and Margin Trading Facility. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing management, while ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance. The role will also be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with various teams to deliver successful broking solutions
Direct Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Products to help define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the broking business, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals of the Org. Broking products include Cash, IPO, Futures & Options and Margin Trading Facility.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape within the broking industry. This activity will be used to support new product development ideas
- Manage the entire product lifecycle for broking products, from initial concept and development to launch, managing and driving adoption, and eventual off-boarding of the product from the product shelf as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with various teams, including Compliance, Legal, Digital, Marketing and Sales, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Ensure all broking products and services comply with relevant regulations and legal requirements within the financial markets. This will also include relevant regulatory certifications and sales processes to ensure adherence to Code of Conduct requirements of the regulator
- Formulate policies for pricing within product lines across channels in consultation with stakeholders to ensure profitability of the product line
- Drive product adoption across channels through various activities including creation of sales enablers and training (train the trainer mode) and launching contests to support business
- Launch contest/ drives for broking products to support business as and when required. This includes developing a contest strategy including contest target, budget and reward and recognition plan for the relevant channel. It also requires regular publishing of leaderboard and reports during contest period for driving the contest across channels.
- Effectively manage stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams including external stakeholders including IT vendors, Exchanges, etc to drive outcomes.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Provide content support for campaigns including creating and managing content to achieve specific campaign goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise to various functions on product related initiatives including IT projects relating to equity products
