Assistant Vice President - Product & Strategy - Retail/Health Insurance

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional for the role of AVP Product & Strategy (Retail Health) to join a leading General Insurance company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the performance of the retail health portfolio through effective product management, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership. This role demands a strong business acumen, a deep understanding of the health insurance ecosystem, and a proactive approach to innovation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Management: Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends

to manage and refine the health insurance portfolio.

- Product Management & Refiling: Lead the conceptualization, design, pricing, and refiling of health insurance products in line with IRDAI regulations and evolving customer needs.

- Strategy Development: Define and execute short-term and long-term strategies for product innovation and market differentiation.

- Quote & Solutioning: Support distribution and underwriting teams with custom product solutions and pricing strategies to enhance market competitiveness.

- Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure all product-related activities comply with IRDAI norms; handle audit queries, documentation, and reporting.

- MIS & Audits: Drive accurate reporting and analytics to aid decision-making; manage internal and external audits effectively.
