Assistant Vice President - Process Excellence & Quality Improvement - Health Insurance

AVP - Process Excellence & Quality Improvement - Health Insurance - 5+ Years - Bangalore

We are looking for a senior-level professionals for the role of AVP - Process & Quality Improvement, with a strong Process Excellence / Operational Excellence background within the health insurance domain. This role will drive digitally enabled process transformation, quality governance, and continuous improvement across operations in a fast-growing insurtech environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead enterprise-wide Process Excellence initiatives aligned with a digital-first operating model.

2. Drive Lean Six Sigma / DMAIC projects to optimize workflows, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency.

3. Design and govern process frameworks, SOPs, and quality controls for scalable digital operations.

4. Conduct Value Stream Mapping and FMEA to identify process gaps, risks, and automation opportunities.

5. Partner with technology, automation, and product teams to enable process digitization.

6. Track KPIs, quality metrics, and present transformation outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of relevant & strong experience in Process Excellence / Operational Excellence / Quality Transformation roles.

2. Prior exposure to the health insurance domain with understanding of end-to-end operations & health claims process.

3. Hands-on expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, VSM, FMEA).

4. Experience in digital process transformation, automation, or tech-enabled operations.

5. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (IRDAI, HIPAA).
