Assistant Vice President - Partnerships Strategy & Solutions - Life Insurance

The opportunity is with a leading life insurance company with a strong presence across bancassurance, strategic partnerships, and distribution.

Role & responsibilities:

The Assistant Vice President Partnerships Strategy & Solutions will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives across the Key Alliances ecosystem. The role will focus on business planning, partner performance management, strategic projects, analytics-driven decision support, growth opportunity identification, and cross-functional execution to strengthen partnership outcomes and drive sustainable business growth.

Strategic Planning & Business Growth:

- Conduct strategic assessments and recommend actions to enhance business productivity and market penetration.

- Business Analytics & Insights: Analyse partner performance, productivity, persistency, customer trends, and profitability metrics.

- Generate actionable insights through data analysis and benchmarking.

- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Project & Program Management:

- Lead cross-functional strategic projects from conceptualisation through implementation.

- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.

- Drive process improvement and operating model enhancement initiatives.

- Ensure effective coordination between Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Compliance teams.

Executive Decision Support:

- Prepare business cases, presentations, strategic notes, and management review materials.

- Support senior leadership with market intelligence, competitive analysis, and business recommendations.

- Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership forums when required.

Preferred candidate profile:

- 8+ years of experience in senior roles within financial services, with strong exposure to life insurance, bancassurance/distribution and strategic partnerships.

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.

- Proven track record in managing strategic partnerships, business planning and driving growth.

- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
