Experience: Minimum 8+ years in Merchant Banking / Investment Banking

About the Role:

As a Merchant Banker, you will be at the forefront of executing capital market transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and managing high-quality deliverables for clients.

This role demands strong knowledge of SEBI regulations, corporate laws, and a proven ability to manage end-to-end project execution in investment banking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct due diligence for capital market transactions.

- Handle drafting, compliance, disclosure, and reporting requirements.

- Ensure proper record keeping in line with SEBI and regulatory norms.

- Interact and coordinate with clients for smooth project execution.

- Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of all client deliverables.

- Prepare pitch books, company profiles, and investment memorandums.

- Stay updated with guidelines/regulations under SEBI, Companies Act, FEMA, Income Tax Act, etc.

- Collaborate with internal teams for execution of Capital Markets transactions (IPOs, FPOs, Rights Issues, etc.

Requirements:

- Minimum 8+ years experience in Merchant Banking or Investment Banking.

- Strong knowledge of SEBI guidelines, Companies Act, FEMA, Income Tax regulations.

- Experience in capital markets transactions and regulatory compliance.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.

- Self-driven, dynamic, and result-oriented professional with ability to think out-of-the-box.
