About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced AVP Marketplace to lead and scale marketplace business for a leading consumer platform. The role will involve end-to-end business ownership, marketplace growth, P&L management, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own P&L and business performance for the marketplace portfolio.

- Develop and execute 1-3 year marketplace growth strategies and roadmaps.

- Drive growth across key marketplaces and e-commerce channels.

- Own marketplace performance metrics including GMV, revenue, profitability, ROAS, ACoS, conversion and visibility.

- Drive marketplace SEO, Buy Box, A+ Content, PPC/DSP and performance optimization.

- Partner with Supply Chain & Operations to ensure inventory availability and business continuity.

- Lead cross-functional teams across Marketing, Brand, Creative, Technology, Supply Chain and Operations.

- Identify new opportunities for marketplace expansion, customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience in E-commerce / Marketplace / Digital Commerce.

- Strong experience in marketplace business management and P&L ownership.

- Proven track record of driving revenue, profitability and marketplace growth.

- Strong understanding of Amazon / major marketplace ecosystems.

- Experience managing large cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

- MBA preferred.

Preferred:

- Experience with high-growth D2C, consumer brands, marketplaces or large-scale e-commerce businesses will be preferred.
