Assistant Vice President/Manager - Product Control

Hiring for AVP & Managers Product control role (8-13 yrs)

Requirements:

- Minimum Degree from an accredited University or Professional Qualification for e.g. Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst

- Minimum 5 years' experience in Product Control with a strong technical knowledge of Financing/ credit products.

- Experience in USGAAP accounting skills for complex transactions and BASEL 3 rules and regulations

- Proven self-starter showing initiative to address issues as they arise and confidence in analyzing and presenting complex financial data.

- Excellent communication skill for effective interaction with senior stakeholders.

- Strong control mind set, and ability to ask questions, challenge the status quo and suggest changes and re-invent the process. Desire to drive for improvement and efficiency.

As Product Controller, responsibilities include:

- Perform timely and accurate calculation, verification, reporting of Daily, and Month-end reporting.

- Ensure accurate Accounting in line with USGAAP/IFRS and make necessary adjustments where necessary.

- Ensure accurate P&L Attribution and Hypo submissions for daily P&L.

- Ensure booking of Trades into correct Trading/ Banking books in line with FRTB requirements.

- Undertake critical reviews of P&L and Balance Sheet with the objective of highlighting significant items to onshore teams.

- The individual will work closely with Trading, Banking, Risk, Operations and other corporate functions to resolve booking, valuation and P&L reporting issues
