Role Summary:

The Position will be responsible for end-to-end IT vendor management across infrastructure, applications, network, security, licenses, AMC/support contracts, and outsourced IT services. The role will ensure that all IT vendor engagements are governed in line with applicable RBI outsourcing guidelines, internal control frameworks, and enterprise risk requirements.

The position requires strong experience in IT operations, vendor governance, SLA management, contract renewals, third party vendor risk assessment, audit support, and outsourcing compliance in a BFSI environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Vendor Lifecycle Management:

- Manage the full lifecycle of IT vendors, including identification, due diligence, onboarding, performance monitoring, renewal, and exit.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for vendor requirements related to applications, infrastructure, network, backup, cybersecurity, and end-user support.

- Maintain updated records of vendor scope, service coverage, contract terms, escalation matrix, and renewal timelines.

2. IT Outsourcing Governance:

- Ensure all IT outsourced services are managed in line with RBI outsourcing requirements, internal policies, and risk control standards.

- Review outsourced IT arrangements for service scope, confidentiality, audit rights, incident reporting, and BCP/DR obligations.

- Monitor critical and material IT vendors for compliance, operational risk, and service quality.

3. SLA and Performance Monitoring:

- Track vendor SLA adherence for uptime, response time, resolution time, and availability.

- Review and analyze vendor performance, highlighting deviations and service gaps.

- Prepare periodic performance dashboards and vendor review reports for management.

4. Contract, Renewal, and License Management:

- Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, IT, Information Security, and Finance teams for vendor contract execution and renewals.

- Review IT vendor agreements for key clauses such as service deliverables, SLA commitments, data security, and exit provisions.

- Track and ensure timely renewal of software licenses, hardware/AMC contracts, and support subscriptions.

5. Risk Management and Compliance:

- Conduct or support risk assessments for IT vendors and outsourced IT services.

- Maintain a risk register for vendor-related issues, including compliance gaps and concentration risks.

- Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance checks.

6. Reporting and MIS:

- Prepare and submit timely MIS covering vendor performance, SLA breaches, contract renewals, and audit observations.

- Present actionable recommendations to management for process improvements and cost control.

7. Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Work closely with IT, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Audit, Security, and Business teams.

- Provide recommendations to management on vendor selection, renewals, and service rationalization.

Required Qualifications:

- Graduate in any discipline.

- Preferred: BE, B.Tech, MCA, MBA, or PGDM.

- Certifications in ITIL, Vendor Risk Management, Project Management, or Information Security are preferred.

Experience Required:

- 12 - 15 years of experience in BFSI.

- Strong background in IT vendor management, outsourcing governance, SLA management, and audit coordination.
