Responsibilities:
To lead the Investor Relations (IR) function by formulating and executing a robust investor communication strategy that accurately reflects the companys financial performance, strategic direction, and growth potential. The role is instrumental in managing relationships with investors, analysts, and financial media, ensuring transparency and trust with the investment community.
1. Strategic Investor Communication
- Develop and implement the companys investor relations strategy aligned with business goals.
- Act as a trusted spokesperson for the company to investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
- Create compelling investor narratives highlighting business strategy, performance, ESG goals, and long-term value creation.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to prepare quarterly earnings releases, analyst presentations, earnings call scripts, and board updates.
- Interpret and explain financial results and key metrics to external stakeholders.
- Track and analyze financial trends, peer performance, and capital markets data.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage relationships with institutional and retail investors, brokers, and analysts.
- Plan and conduct investor roadshows, earnings calls, AGMs, and investor conferences.
- Address investor inquiries and manage consistent follow-up and engagement.
4. Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate disclosure of material information in compliance with SEBI / stock exchange regulations.
- Liaise with Legal, Company Secretary, and Compliance teams to uphold governance standards.
5. Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Provide feedback from investors and market participants to management and board.
- Collaborate with business leaders and corporate strategy teams to align messaging and provide market insights.
- Track shareholding patterns, institutional interest, and market sentiment.
6. Thought Leadership & Brand Building
- Enhance the companys visibility within the investment community.
- Drive initiatives to improve market perception and analyst coverage.
- Stay updated on ESG, sustainability disclosures, and global IR trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA / MBA in Finance / CFA charterholder preferred.
- 18-20 years of experience in Investor Relations, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or Corporate Finance.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation, and capital markets.
- Experience in a listed manufacturing or industrial company is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to SEBI / stock exchange regulatory environment.
