Role Overview

Seeking an experienced professional to join the Investment Banking Business Management team at the AVP level. This role will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, driving operational efficiency, governance, and strategic initiatives within the investment banking division.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Investment Banking leadership in executing business strategy, financial planning, and performance management.

- Drive business governance frameworks, including risk and control processes, compliance with internal and external policies.

- Lead key business management routines such as budget tracking, headcount planning, and management reporting.

- Collaborate with front office, finance, compliance, and technology teams to enhance workflow and data integrity.

- Prepare executive-level presentations, board materials, and strategic business reviews.

- Identify process improvements and implement scalable solutions across the business unit.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 8 years in investment banking, business management, or related roles within financial services.

Educational Background: Professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant) or MBA from a recognised institution.

Core Competencies:

- Strong understanding of investment banking products and lifecycle.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
