Role Requirement:
- Lead execution for private equity, fund-raising and strategic advisory mandates through closure.
- Develop detailed financial models, valuations, transaction analyses.
- Prepare Information Memorandums, teasers, pitch books, management presentations and other transaction materials.
- Conduct industry, company and transaction research and develop a strong understanding of relevant sectors.
- Coordinate due diligence, data-room processes, investor interactions and transaction documentation.
- Work closely with promoters, management teams, PE/VC funds, strategic investors, lawyers, accountants and other advisors.
- Support senior bankers in client management, mandate development and transaction negotiations.
- Independently manage multiple workstreams and ensure timely execution of live mandates.
- Guide and mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, promoters, investors and intermediaries to support business development.
Candidate Profile:
- 5 - 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A or transaction advisory.
- Experience with a boutique investment bank or established investment banking platform preferred.
- Strong understanding of M&A, private equity transactions, capital raising and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior clients.
- Ability to independently manage transaction execution while working collaboratively with a lean team.
- High attention to detail, ownership and execution orientation.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to translate analysis into actionable investment / transaction insights.
- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.

- The individual should be comfortable taking ownership of a transaction, getting into the details when required, and simultaneously developing the judgment and client-management skills expected of a senior investment banker.
