CANDIDATE MUST BE B.TECH/B.E - MECHANICAL
Responsibilities:
1. Key Account Management:
- Develop strong relationships with key global accounts through frequent interactions & visits.
- Ensure timely product delivery, quick query response and customer complaint resolution.
2. Sales & Marketing Processes:
- Establish and lead robust sales and marketing practices including Forecasting, Sales Generation, Product Pricing, Key Account management, Sales Planning, RFQ handling, Distribution Planning and receivables management.
3. Business Finalization:
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of RFQs and ensure conversion of RFQs into new business.
- Finalize specifications with engineering team and customer, define terms (price and terms of payment), negotiate contract, formulate pricing mechanism (Including RM and other cost escalation recovery).
4. Sales Execution:
- Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets as per annual business plan through continuous planning and reviews.
- Overall Responsibility of Account being the First Point of Contact for any queries irrespective of functional area including getting Sales Orders, Product Supply as per commitment, Demand as per SOB, timely receivables for healthy cashflow and Quality issue resolution, if any.
5. New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive forging space both with current and prospective clients.
- Focus on high-margin growth segments including product adjacencies and sub-systems.
6. New Product Pipeline:
- Identify new products opportunities and participate in new product selection & development.
- Participate in new product specification finalization, interface with Engg/ Quality/ Manufacturing Teams.
- Ensure timely development of a robust product.
7. Customer Relationship Management:
- Regularly engage with buyers and engineering/product teams through visits and events.
- Build strong relationships by understanding customer and internal processes, resolving technical issues, and positioning the company as a trusted, solution-oriented partner.
- Focus on expanding key accounts and developing new ones.
8. People Management:
- Define and align KPIs for the Sales team.
- Review performance monthly, identify improvement areas, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to drive results.
